Pros and cons of Breathing Zone app for iPhone and iPad

Breathing Zone app good for

I work as a biofeedback therapist and use professional HRV software in my practice regularly but often use this app also. Its easy to use and an excellent way to encourage clients to practice relaxation techniques between professional sessions.
Very interesting app for developping timed breathing. As a musician, I would suggest adding a Nice wood sounding metronome as an option with the option of a precise number of clicks for inhaling and for exhaling. The speed would be controlled with tempo (aka beats per minute)
Lets make this simple, Ill list all the features this app DOESNT have and you decide if those features are important to you. 1- Ability to customize or import sounds that let you know when to breath in and out. 2- Ability to adjust the breathing indicator volume relative to the volume of music you may have playing in the background on your iTunes or another app. 3- Ability to adjust the length of the inhale portion of the breath relative to the exhale eg: breath in for five seconds out for eight. As it stands, the inhale and exhale can only be the same length of time. 4- An option to have a hold at the top (inhaled) or bottom (exhaled) part of the breath. And with that, of course, the ability to customize the time length and sound indicator to go along with it. 5- ability to set the exact time you want your breathing session to go for rather than the current five minute intervals. 6- ability to set the length of time you need to get to your target breathing rate in any given breathing session. 7- a silent mode that doesnt also vibrate as there is already a so called "vibrate" mode. 8- More than one visual theme would be cool too. I still give this app four stars cause its pretty and has potential and, to be honest there arent any really good ones out there that Ive found anyway.
The app is so simple and easy to use, that I actually am keeping my resolve to do 15 minutes of deep breathing every day. As a therapist, Ive recommended it to clients, as well as family members.
Wonderful tool to assist in achieving and maintaining not just physical, but also mental wellbeing. Highly recommended for those who carry tension and stress.
The only app I could find for what I was looking for and it was free!

Some bad moments

Its Not worth its money. The analyzer dont work and the animation isnt very beautiful. I has no usage for me.
Great but the app appears not to be full compatible on the iPhone 4/4S. The elements on screen are not centered.
This normally sells for $3.99! Was expecting so, so much more with so many more options and settings. As a freebie, disappointing. If I had paid full price, I would have been very annoyed.
Please let us turn off binaural beats... It is very distracting.
This is a simple easy to follow procedure. I feel relaxed after using it. I like the moving color image that I focus while doing the breathing. Very nice. Enjoy.
The following is a complete description of what the app does: you press a play button, and a voice says "breathe in... breathe out..." over and over while a piano note is struck and a colorful circle gets larger and smaller. I can see this app being useful for people who never learned how to breathe. For those of us who learned to do so at birth, its a waste of time.
